Booking & cancellation
We're eight rooms run by one person, so a cancelled room usually stays empty. That's the whole reason these windows exist — not to be difficult. If something has gone wrong with your trip, call Robin and talk to her.
If you need to cancel
- 14 or more days before check-in
- Full refund.
- Less than 14 days before, down to 48 hours before
- Half of what you paid is refunded.
- Within 48 hours of check-in, or if you don't arrive
- No refund.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
The policy in force is the one that was published when you booked — we save a copy with your reservation, so a later change here can’t alter your terms.
Pets
We have two pet-friendly rooms out of eight. There's a one-time $25 pet fee per stay, added when you book. Pick a pet-friendly room on the booking page and it's included in your total.
Stay lengths
- Stays up to 5 nights can be booked online. For anything longer, call Robin and she'll set it up by hand.
- Arriving within 48 hours of booking? Call or email Robin instead of booking online. Our housekeeper needs a little notice to have your room ready.
- Our busy season runs October 15 to April 30. Stays in that stretch have a 2-night minimum, every night of the week, not just weekends.
- Stays that overlap a holiday have a 2-night minimum.
How many fit in a room
- Adults: up to two per room. A larger group is welcome; it just means more than one room, and Robin will arrange them with you.
- Children 4 and under: welcome to share your bed at no extra charge, up to two of them.
- Children 5 and older: they need their own bed, so they need a room of their own. We have one pair of rooms with a connecting door, which is usually how families do this. When the rooms don't connect, we ask that an adult stay in each room with a child.
- Extra beds: no rollaways, cots, or sleeping bags on the floor.
